NEW Look for a NEW Year... and some more reader cards.

I am just so very excited about SheetLoad and 2008!!

Some of my artists have seen the "new look" already and can agree, SheetLoad is getting an Extreme eZine Makeover for the new year!

We also have a few sponsors lined up and are excited to get some product for our artists to use, as well as get the sponsoring companies additional publicity. It's a win-win if you ask me.

Make sure to keep checking back, as I will be giving a sneak preview of the January sketch in the next week or so.

I will close today with a few cards made by Tammie. She used the layout from our first-ever issue of SheetLoad. Thanks for sharing, Tammie!

Vera was nice enough to send me pictures of the some of the lovely Christmas cards she made to send out using the September issue of SheetLoad.

Thanks for sharing these, Vera!!

To the rest of the readers: Keep 'em coming. I love to see what you are doing with the SheetLoad. Not only may I feature your cards in a post, but everyone's will get added to the slideshow at the bottom of the main page.

SheetLoad has been Snap Shotz'd!!!

Please check out Snap Shotz's wonderful post about SheetLoad of Cards! Snap Shotz is the blog for Scrap Shotz - a great online scrapbooking store and message board.
If you are looking for great chat, cool tutorials and year 'round challenges, this is a great site to check out. I participated in the last crop they had this year and can hardly wait for 2008 to join in again.
Carla, one of their design team members, created the sketch I used in the first issue of SheetLoad. It is still one of my favorite sketches to date - yes, even with my own included. ;)

Help me promote SheetLoad and be entered to win!

Look what you can win...
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Yep, a full set (16 packages) of the Studio G (series 7) stamps!!

Here is how you get entries:
- 1 entry for putting me in your link list
- 1 entry for posting a message on a publicly accessed message board about SheetLoad (I can't verify non-public messages)
- 2 entries for a blog post w/a link to SheetLoad
- 5 entries for putting a blinkie on your blog (email me at crafty_al@comcast.net for the blinkie code - please use "blinkie code" as your subject line)

What you must do to be qualified:
Leave a comment here with:
- First Name and Last Initial
- Email address (I will not be "tracking down" the winner)
- Links to all applicable entries (see my sample comment at the top of the comment entries of what yours should look like)

Timeline:
I will take entries until December 26th.
If you put up a blinkie on your blog, it MUST stay there until the 26th to be qualified for the 5 entries.
Winner will be announced on January 1, 2008.

How the winner is chosen:
After all entries are in, I will compile a list of names and for each entry your name will be put that many times into the drawing. (ie: if Shelly J has 6 entries, she will have her name on the list 6 times.)
I will use a random number generator to choose the winner.

Please make sure to read all rules carefully and include all necessary info in your comment to this post.

If you have already put a blinkie / post on your blog, make sure to leave a comment - you will be included as well.

Thanks and happy promotin'!
Alicia

What a difference a day makes!

I checked the counter last night and in just 24 hours SheetLoad had almost 600 hits! Fantastic!

I doubt it will keep up that pace, but if you frequent crafting message boards, could you give a little shout out to SheetLoad? Pretty please?

Welcome to our new home...

I decided it was time to start a blog dedicated solely to my FREE eZine, SheetLoad of Cards.

For my loyal "fans" I hope you enjoy the new site. To any new visitors I hope this blog becomes "stalk-worthy".

Nothing really new for today since the December issue is already up at Call Me {Crafty} Al, but I did want to share a link to all of the issues here.
