Meet the Artists - Episode 6 - Barbara DeBose

Today's Artist is...
Barbara DeBose, SheetLoad Sample Artist http://createdbybd.blogspot.com/

SheetLoad Q - How many years have you been making cards? Purposely and collecting supplies 3 years, but I think it's in my DNA as I can remember making hand made greetings as a child.

SheetLoad Q - What is your favorite technique to use on cards? I'm not sure if it's a technique, but I LOVE texture paint, also known as embossing paste. It is such a cool effect!

SheetLoad Q - What is your favorite crafty site? Paper Crafters {Anonymous} of course with Papertrey Ink running a close second.

SheetLoad Q - Are you a member of any manufacturer or web-site design teams? This team is the only one I am currently a part of part of.

SheetLoad Q - What is a little-known or odd fact about yourself? I was originally a Mechanical Engineering major the first time around at college. Now I am slowly pursuing a Business degree, one class at a time.

SheetLoad Q - What is a recent card you have made, that would be considered a favorite? This is a tough one, but I think i'm going with the Valentine's Day card. I cut the heart out to use on another card and just wanted to see how the embossing would look with the silver cardstock. I really liked so I used it as an element on my card.

SheetLoad Q - Is there anything else you would like to share with SheetLoad readers? I love to make hand made gifts with a soft spot for paper mache. It's a surface that just begs to be painted, inked, glued, glittered and papered. I also have an addiction to the collecting of supplies, especially tools and paper!
